Location. The Hard Rock Hotel San Diego is located in San Diego, Calif. The hotel overlooks the Gaslamp Quarter, historic stomping grounds of Wyatt Earp. San Diego Convention Center stands adjacent to the hotel, and PETCO Park is one block away. The hotel is located two miles from San Diego International Airport.
Hotel Features. Designed by architect Graham Downes, the hotel's interior sports ultra modern d?cor in vibrant colors. A social platform, the rooftop pool deck is surrounded by landscaped gardens. The poolside Moonstone Lounge offers private cabanas furnished with leather seating, flat screen televisions and minibars. Opium beds surround the lounge's fire pits. On the main floor, the casual Sweetwater Saloon offers a casual spot to enjoy sports entertainment on flat screen televisions. MaryJane's coffee shop presents retro modern style and serves American fare such as LA sticky buns and burgers. Renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa's signature eatery presents nouveau Japanese flavors like Lobster with Wasabi Pepper Sauce and Black Cod with Miso. The hotel's 5,000 square foot entertainment venue, The Vault, presents live concerts and movie premiers while Woodstock, an open air event space, hosts up to 900 guests for parties and special events. The Rock Spa, a full service health spa, serves up Champagne Cocktail Body Soaks.
Guestrooms. True to the hotel's modern vibe, guestroom decor utilizes bold color and design. Specially designed lighting systems set the mood even the beds glow with halo illumination.
