The San Diego Firehouse Museum, founded in 1962, is located in the former San Diego Station No. 6 in the Little Italy section of downtown San Diego. Inside the museum, visitors will see firefighting memorabilia dating back 100 years. Everything from fire buckets to early firefighting apparatus is on display. There is a gift shop with firefighting apparel for sale. The museum is also available for private rental.
