Belmont Park is San Diego's premiere beachfront amusement center, offering everything from rides and games to shops and oceanfront restaurants--something for the entire family! The Park also features special events and entertainment. Guest purchase $1 tickets and the number of tickets required for each ride varies, from 2 to 6. Tickets can be purchased individually or in a bonus pak, or you can get an unlimited ride wristband. Hours vary by season, so be sure to check the website. Here is just a sampling of the fun:
Giant Dipper Roller Coaster - offers quick drops, steep hills, sharp curves and high speeds
Beach Blaster - swings passengers 60 feet in the air to 120 degrees in both directions
FlowRider - an endless wave for riders to both stand and bodyboard on
Speedway Bumper Cars - traditional bumper car action for that old time family fun
Pirates of Belmont - indoor miniature golf and arcade
Liberty Carousel - an antique reproduction
Krazy Kars - a wild bumper car ride
The Plunge - San Diego's largest indoor heated swimming pool
